Gimp, Who uses it.

Just downloaded it and im starting to play around with it some but it seems complicated haha, maybe its just i dont really know what im doing.
Anyone have pics that they can show they did on gimp?? Im going to keep messing around with it to see what i come up with.

And does anyone have any advice or tips to help me out?

ive tried it and was quite unsuccessful with it in the 40 minutes that i tried messing with it. lol I think i still have it on my laptop to get a chance to try it again. it looked like a great program if i had more time to mess with it. the layer feature was pretty slick.

no real tips though sorry. lol

Ive used it to make layers in photos transparent but other then that i dont touch that confusing POS.

Ya it does seem really confusing i think i may just leave it up to the pros lol.
Or ill get some other editing thing.
Anyone have an suggestions on something better other than photoshop.

you can find some video's on youtube on starting up. Probli the easiest to start off, i just downloaded it and its pretty hard at first but it gets easier

I run with Corel Paintshop Pro 12, very easy to work with compared to Adobe Photoshop. And it's around $100 I believe.
