Carb pin on kx80

I am working on a Kx80 that my friend recently bought from another friend. He says that he adjusted the carb pin so it tops out at around 45. What the **** is a carb pin. I dont kno much about dirt bikes but it seems lilke an easy fix. any info is appreciated.

I THINK UR FRIEND DOSENT NO WHAT HES TALKIN BOUT???? BUT THE CARB PIN IS EASY TO MOVE THERE IS A CLIP AND THEN IT MOVES UP AND DOWN...I THINK THERE IS 3 NOTCHES BUT NOT SURE
