300ex Questions?/ PLZ help!

i just bought a 1998 300ex for $250 bux...but the engine is spitting out oil out of the overflow!! any ideas on that???

Also can i put New 300ex plastic on the 1998 frame??

well since this is the 400ex forum probably not real valuable help. i would venture to say that if it is filled to the proper oil level, it is time to put some new rings in it. it is getting alot of blow-by thus blowing the oil out of the breather. that is not a dry sump motor so all of the oil is in the crank case all the time.

do a comp test and find out what it reads.
