Everyone with information regarding ProTrax stuff, should send it to Langbolt to include on the original post. That way, we can keep this thread clean with the meat up top.

Sorry to volunteer you Langbolt, but you started it. :p

I will keep everyone posted as to what I find out about the clevis deal.

If you guys dont mind... i would like to save all this and make a thread on my forum about it!

I know there was a few threads about replacement parts, ect. I need to go back and find those and combine it all into 1 thread.

Great work!

sbb-10 the heim bearing?

Langbolt

Number5....see in the Diagram

The SBB-10 is what is referred to as the MONO-BALL bearings.

It's the Upper & Lower T-pin Bearing.

Are you looking for the Heim joints on the Tie-Rods ?

Who makes this stuff? Do you get the parts from Laeger or somewhere else?

Contact Rod End Supply in Olathe, KS. The rod ends are X-7 and XL-7. Does not come with the jam nuts. I have new ones if you need jam nuts. The part #'s listed are L & R hand threads. You'll need 2 of each.

Do you know who the supplier is? Looks like those are sourced from Laeger with the first three letters...:ermm:

Hey Dan I think what brokenbones is saying is the Laeger Part number is LAE018G which equates to the IKO bearing Part#NAX1725z....but I'm confused on the ROLL PIN ? LAE 018M....is that the spring pin that hold the upper and lower clevis locked in place ? The one that you have to drive out before you can disassemble the T-Pins....

well about 5or 6 years ago I bought a box full of all the parts to rebuild both of my front ends. I know susie was still answering the phone if thats a time line. I will look through all my old invoices and try to help with numbers,I looked in the box last night to try to find parts numbers on the bags but there were not any. I did find a 2006 laeger parts catalog in the box and it shows very few rebuild parts and still no numbers, I dont know how to post pics but I can send a pic to some to post if the want to see the catalog

The PMX-7 tie Rod ends require lubrication....

You can also get the "XM" series which are the self lubricating Rod Ends... " Teflon Liner " $ 11.62 each..

XM-7 Right Hand Thread
XML-7 Left Hand Thread.

The Website has this part number listed as 5/16, but I called today and that information is incorrect.. .They are the 7/16 X 20.. Same as the PMX series, but with Teflon Liners...

Thanks Dan :D

Are anyone else's mono-ball bearings aluminum? I think I have a "custom engineered" part, if you know what I mean.

Matt

Bigmatt61 - Aluminum ???

I hope you can simply swap them out for the IKO SBB-10's

They're all Steel and about $8 ea from a bearing supplier

Hey Troy! Good find! Have you checked the Price on these ? I know the IKO's are expensive... :)

troybilt

So far the cheapest is just ordering thru Laeger at 52 bucks ea. The SKF's were 126 and warehoused in Germany only. I've called around all over.

I paid $86ea up here in the Great White North.....they have a Warehouse in Toronto....I wonder How Laeger gets them so cheap ? Unless he has a relative in Germany ? LOL

Does anyone have a price on these rose joints?

SICK-250Rzs,

you'll have to call Rod End Supply.....you could source them elsewhere....but you'll end up replacing them a lot sooner if you buy cheap ones.

I recommend: www.fkrodends.com
