You should also consider the Kenda Klaws or Kenda Knarly's. From all the research I did when I recently bought tires, the Kenda's seem to be getting popular. I went with the Knarly's because I don't plan on racing or anything. They are also much cheaper that the raz2's and are also 6 ply. I can't really give you a review of how they actually ride yet because I am having problems getting them mounted.

I would try the razors 2's those things look pretty mean, with the tread going up on the side wall a little...

I say go with the razrs, they are well worth the money. They last a long time and hook up good no matter what you ride on. Even in the last dirt wheels, they used the razrs on a 1000 mile baja, and they were hardly worn. They said they will run well past 1000 miles. I have used razrs the past 3 years and still love them. But that is just my opinion.

I've got a set of both.

The RAZR2 is a better tire in my opinion, but the XCR will probably last longer.

Both should offer reasonable life.
