I was excited, then I saw the oil tank. Im with beastly warrior, why not slap an 06-09 engine in that thing? Is that an 05? I cant remember if there was a 5 speed that needed a tank. 04 was the last of the 4 speed. Unless those are new 4 speed engines, I might have to have one of those.

At least things are mving in the right direction, hats off to Apex!

I think they messed up and copied the wording from their 250 to the 450 page cause they both say 37 HP also

I would say the web master goofed...the Apex 250 is a production quad. AMA approved. the 450 may be a production quad in 2012....we will see. It is NOT a 450 Yamaha Chassis....it is a Lonestar designed outlaw chassis. Always room for changes and improvement but for now....this is it. The 250 kicks butt! Teri @ Apex

When you order one do they valve the shocks for your weight? Not positive but I heard you can choose between Elka, fox and custom axis shocks. What are the internals of the motor? Stock with the lsr exhaust?

As far as I know they Just use the ELKA's, if APEX is still in business. They are nearly impossible to get a hold of, rarely return calls.. Both for customers and manufacturer that supply them parts.

I do know that you can order the machine without any shocks, and put your own on or get them built right from ELKA. ELKA for sure has the specs, and I believe fox does as well. Despite what earlier posts say, the frame is VERY Similar to yfz450 (except is chromoly) and has same geometry as LSR YFZ frame and LSR DC4 A arms.

Talk to Lonestar, as they are knowledgeable about it.. Don't tell them you want info on LSR "Outlaw" Chassis, as this is not what it is... Outlaw chassis is basically a Banshee chassis with better front end. I Own and raced one of the few 450's this past season up in Canada, and know the bike inside and out and have figured and fixed all of the kinks out of them.
