Right side case conversion

Has anyone on here done the XR 400 right side case conversion? I really would like to have a removeable clutch cover. If anyone on here has ever done it what did you use for a plug for the kicker? To the best of my knowledge the 400EX and the XR 400 motors are almost exactly the same so it should be a direct swap shouldn't it?

I would like it too, but the XR right side cover are easy to find but the little clutch cover are rarissimo!!! check on ebay... nothing... if someone have a clue for that!! I wonder how many compagnies still offer clutch covers for this application... like hinson or ???

You can plug off the kickstart hole with something as simple as a bolt, some washers and good silicone.

Make sure you put the bolt head on the inside tho and red loctite the nut on so it doesnt ever come off.
