we used to let anybody do them but its not as easy as it looks and have had way to many problems. its alot different than racing. i actually just walked into the pits in 98 but we have a tight group who does them now and trust each other. when you stuff 8 guys on a small track and slam the crap out of each other it gets dangerous.

Yea you have to know people to get into it. Ive ran the one in Charleston, WV and Roanoke virginia a couple times. Like he said it gets tight running usually up to 12 bikes in a small arena side by side without getting anyone hurt.

pj is the main man. he runs all of the east coast shows and then some. he probably subed it out to someone. who was the contact for your show aka team captains

Hank ran both shows this year and Chad from victory Motorsports did it last year.

were they advanced auto parts monster jams shows or the other ones i do as well with just some promotor at a fair or race track?

All I've done were advance auto shows. I think Hank and Chad answer to Randy Jenkins who is over a certain district of east coast.

Yea I was asked to do Richmond and a couple others but decided to save my vacation for racing. They're a blast tho.

they are with the right groups. i have been doing them for 13 years and you get different personalitys everywhere you go for riders. some real dickheads sometimes. but the group i run with in ct and mass are awesome. just a little scared sometimes. there are only 2 other riders at the pro level. the rest are b riders and get scared to mess up the show and jump side by side. have to call them *****s to get them to run good you know.i love slamming them though they screem like *****es. shows look bad single file and of coarse the two captains have to start in the back so they dont catch up for a few laps.

Last show we did was pretty good no jumps though only an oval track. 9/10 guys were local so we've all rode with eachother so Gettin to where you trust throwing in a turn rubbin tires with the guy by you is no problem.

if you want jumps and a shicane you have to *****. get your contact to go to the promoter and ask him if he want a great show or sucky one. we do it all the time. we prove to them all the time you need that corner and some jumps to really make a show happen and make the big recks look good. works everytime. if they keep the circle we just make the first show lame and say you want a good show we need a good track. the first time i did it in 98, we had woops, four doubles and a infield tripple. but alot of guys werent at that level including me at the time and got messed up. i will find a pic of that track. i have one somewhere.

Yea we've always just went with what they gave us. Charleston and Roanoke aren't very big arenas so not much room to work with. Charleston had chicanes and 1 jump last year and Roanoke had whoops a roller and a "double"...at least that's what they called it...

Yea that's a lot bigger arena than what I'm used to. It still makes the oval look good though when theres 10 guys side by side in a small arena. We got to do a lot of grudge match stuff this year too so it was fun Gettin the crowd into it.
