PLEASE READ - Avatars getting a little out of hand

Guys I have gotten many complaints about some of the "graphic" avatars that are being exhibited here, i.e. the ones with mostly naked women. These avatars just started cropping up about two weeks ago and only a handful of guys have them. Please change them and save me the time :p Thanks guys! :)

Actually not a single woman or girl has complained - it has been all men and people that are highly active here! I wasn't aware that Guy and 4punks said anything but they were right on track! :D

i can see yer point, i dont find it offensive tho but i dotn think anywomen will come here and wanna see that if u wanan see naked chicks there are plenty of places on the net

bill your kind of right, but when you see guys in thong speedo's or nude but blocked out then t would make exrider's gay as heck

yea i noticed this too i mean the chick thread maybe every 2 months then get locked. or ben perhaps you could have a section with the chick pictures that say only exriders patrons could access and perhaps provide the patrons with a pin # they chose to get into this area. now i am definitley not saying MAKE THIS A PAYSITE. dont do it but just a thread that patrons could access or some way to control it. basically im saying a way to control the chick thread. maybe one every month and then take the pics from it (the tasteful ones anyway) and put them in a locked thread that only you can post them in. and that way, they wouldnt get out of hand. thats an idea. get what im sayin?

hmm this is a quad site, go to yahoo and search for nude women if thats what u wanan see, come here to look at quads, i dont mind seeing the women here but why is he gonna go through all that so u can sit there and drool

Well I was reading some very old posts where this guy "CRF450" or something wanted to SEW exriders for one of the chick threads. He said that his son clicked on the link, blah blah blah. There was a big problem awhile ago with this guy. I think that and other people complaining about the chick thread made the Mods lock the threads up!

that guy was jus a trouble maker leo gave him the boot but the guy still had a pt, even tho were all guys and we love women,......well most of use there is a place for each

Im bumping this back up b/c the message didnt seem to get across. I saw one a few mins ago with a chic tht had absolutely nothin on, just her hands covering her rack. Not that I dont like this, but we have to think bout the kids and what this site represents.

I never saw any avators that the girls were completley naked. I think what Ben wants is to get rid of all the chick things. I think we should just stick with atv avators unless Ben says otherwise.

I like the girl avators, and would hate to see them go. I don't come here for just quads any more. I think if you keep it taste full, I don't think you sould get rid of them.

I myself don’t see anything wrong with the Girl Avatars as long as there is no Nudity in them. If a girl in a Bikini or tight shirt offends some one then they have their own issues. Why should some one have to worry about shielding THEM from the world, I mean come on it is 2003, not 1974. Just keep it clean and for all you tree loving, sandal wearing hippie’s…..grow up.

I think what Ben is trying to get across is that he doesnt want it to go to far, like the "Chick" threads. Like it starts with swim suits and not nude ladies, then it will be super hard core and then Ben will get in trouble... He is trying to prevent a problem.

I like them to, but I totaly stand behind ben on this one.

Yea, swimsuits should be ok. And yes, I know that the avatar I posted is quad related, but she is still clothesless.

Swimsuits should be as far as it goes. Thongs and no clothes should be over the line. But thats just me.

I used to go on ATV connection. Its alright, Its gets boring tho. I found a good deal on a raptor shock there tho. I like exriders so much better, I cant stay off of this place, its so addicting, and its fun, and everyones cool here. I love it

Breadman - go to your "User CP" area (the button to it is on the top button bar). Then click on "Options." At the bottom of the Options page there is a button to add an avatar. From there just follow the instructions! :)

thanks for the reply... but I have tried that and there are no avatars there to choose from. I went to user cp then clicked on edit options... then went to the bottom and clicked on change avatar... and right there where it says use avatar the option is checked no... but it doesn't give you an option to say yes to... on down it gives you an option to say yes but that is to use a custom avatar. what am I doing wrong?

Do you see the little button on the Avatar Page that says "Custom Avatar?" You have to upload a picture from your computer for your avatar. This can be any appropriate picture that is 65x65 pixels :cool:
