The Yammy is almost done being built. just waiting on the shocks

He raced a ton last year, won his district class. We did not run many nationals....he had to work.

Wow, last time I remember seeing pictures of him he was riding a ktm 65 and a mini quad. Good luck to him. Hope his training and riding pay off.

good luck to him. growing up riding in WV he has all the potential in the world to be very competitive in GNCC. I come down in there and ride every year. If i had trails like that to ride everyday i would have went the same route he is going.

LOL, he is growing up thats for sure. He works a regular job(s), carries over a 4.0 gpa, works for me, works for this website and ATV Insider magazine and basically has no life beyond school, the gym and the seat of his quad. Thats his choice. I told him last year that there wasnt any way that I could afford to do much for him and that his racing was going to be from his pocket. Last year he decided he could afford to only race a few nats and set his sights on locals that he could afford.

His hard work will be rewarded this year as he will be running a pretty prepped quad, one he hasnt had since the mini days. Thanks goes out to every company that stepped up to help build his quad for this season. I did the powder coating but havent turned a wrench on it, I cant, wish I could. Infact, other then a few cell phone pics I havent even seen it. I highly doubt he will even get to shake it down until we are at the opening round.

He rides alone 99% of the time. The winters here do not lend themselves to much off season practice and we sure dont have the funds to run south every weekend.

If all goes well, and if he decides against a military enlistment, he will run A in 2012 then Pro AM but there is alot of "if's" in that. College and work comes first and there isnt a giant paycheck awaiting anyone, even if they do hit the Pro ranks. Looking at the new contingency's, he would be better off running a UTE! Racing for us has always been for fun, and I hope that is all it ever becomes.
