need advice

i just stripped my bike down because im going to get everything repowder coated and noticed that my chain wore through my chain guide into my swing arm... i know its not smart to weld it because its cast aluminum. i was wondering if there was a filler that you would use to fill this in or just leave it the way it is cause the new guide will cover it any way... or i could just buy a new swing arm from ebay for cheap. basically id like your advice as to what my best option would be

If it were me, I would just coat it and be done with it. The new slider will hide it.

If you just have to not have that, I agree, snag one off ebay, just make sure its not as bad as the one you have:p
