Hi, guys. I'm going to be sloooowly selling off my old magazines in no particular order. I have most 1984 through 1990 of all 3 Wheeling, ATV Sports, 3&4 Wheel Action and dirtwheels. I"ll just be grabbing one or two, reading each again for the last time with tissues close by,(HA Ha ha) and saying goodbye....(LOL). Prices will be marked each, as to condition. None will be over $30 to keep this sort of reasonable. Some are not perfect, but will be described as such individually. First come first serve. FIRST PAY PAL PAYMENT GETS THE ISSUE. Please give your address and appropriate issue date with your PAY PAL payment to keep things easy and straight forward. Then feel free to post that you've purchased. Please no "hold this for me" or "dibs" posts, as they will be ignored. Just want to keep this simple and fair. If you don't see a "SOLD" or "PAYMENT SENT" post by myself or the buyer then the magazine should be still available.
If you're a magazine collector, please check back or subscribe to this thread. I'll be posting more over this weekend and through the next coming weeks, months and years.(LOL) This is taking a VERRRRY Looong time. I've been mostly posting these on the trike sites, but hope you all will appreciate the quad years more than the trike acholics do.
Here's the fist two up tonight. Thanks! -Andy Pay Pal address: k10seibel@yahoo.com

Please PM me and then Pay Pal asap with appropriate funds. "Personal Gift" Pay Pal option is always appreciated if possible. (no worries if you can't)
Pay Pal account address: k10seibel@yahoo.com
THANKS AGAIN! -Andy

Andy I collect these mags, mostly DW and 3&4 wheel action. I'd be willing to work something out on 86-89 years of DW. I have most of everything else...

Neil your too nice...
I'll gladly except those milk crates and get that old junk out of your way. Stupid magazines..... can't be worth anything...

If you think I'm out of line, just do an eBay search of dirtwheels, 3&4 Wheel Action, 3 Wheeling. All circa 1981-1989. I'm rather cheap compared to some. At auction most range between $15-$45 when the fight'n ends. I take no offense by the tone, and urge you to do as you wish with your issues. I really cherish these old history rags. A guy can learn a lot from them not to mention the smiles produced from the old pictures and ads.

Thanks for the kind words, Quinn4.
It's fun to see someone from your home state in the magazines. I always look through the "letters" section in Dirtwheels every month, and look for other Wisconsinites. It's really not that hard to get printed in them, just send them some pics. They need filler. Usually you'll see yourself 3 issues after sending your submissions.
If you're ever down by Madison I'm less than a half hour away(due west). Be happy to have ya for a visit.

you think you know a lot about something til you read one of those "old" mags and find out you don't know anything. good way to research "new" tricks. wife tells me to sell mine all the time, i just move them to another hiding spot til she finds them again. running out of hiding spots i may be in the same boat shortly!

That's downright hilarious. I thought I was the only one. :) I will add, my wife has been collecting these "larger" size Barbie dolls, since childhood. They are not the ones that kids play with, they are fancy and each have their own special tote. I've priced them on eBay and they bring some coin. Everytime she sees me taking pictures, posting sale items, boxing items, then seeing new parts arrive, I always remind her those Barbies also have value. :blah:

Anyways, loving the magazine collection!

I've been buying old DW and 3&4 wheel action on ebay for the last year or so. I just picked up all, all of 1981 (2 issues) all of 1982 (6 issues), all of 1983, 1985, and the holy grail of mags the 1980 DW very first issue. I paid $30 bucks for the original issue.... it just depends on who's biding most of the time... I missed on some 1990/91 issues that sold for $70 for both years, I had most of those so I didn't bid too high.... I won several 3&4 wheel actions for 12 bucks shipped last week... 4 complete years, 1994/95/96/97... that was a steal...

I know what they are selling for, I've been studying them for years. I;ve seen some have them listed for 70 bucks an issue, but none have sold in the last 3 months.. they are all on my watch lists.... I think Andy is right in there for a reasonable price for collector issues.... I would never pay $360 ($30x12) for a complete year though... that's crazy..

Though the '90's mags aren't worth quite as much as the '80s issues yet, they WILL be with time. Don't feel bad I had a 3&4 Wheel Action subscription from '89 til '95 and put them all at the curb....WTF was I think'n! Just like you, I was moving out of my mom's and had little room for the stuff at my apartment at the time. I've learned with parts, magazines, posters, toys, ect... If it's ATV related, Don't throw it away! Always seem to have need of once deemed junk, later down the road. Or find out the item is now worth sizable $$ on Febay.

Yeah, I guess I should have hung on to them, but wasnt thinking at the time.
Guy that got them from me dont live to far from me.

Each one of those different mags, had like a rider/racer or two they kinda reported on more so than the others. You remember when 3 Wheeler Mag switched over & turned into ATV Sports & after that reported on rider Steve Mendenhall more that the other riders

I've got some other things probably older than the mags, any of you remember ATV News, a paper like Cycle News.

ATV NEWS issues are also one Bay from time to time. Good reading there I'm sure too. They bring decent money.
Neil, sorry if I came off rude. I have gotten ridiculed for selling some of the mags. Some people think it's greedy/crazy asking $25/plus $5 shipping for an old ragged out magazine.
I see you didn't mean any harm. My bad!

I come from a family of "collectors", I bought my house almost two years ago and I am still moving in. I am 32 and I have a 40' sea/train container of stuff, as well as a 26' reefer van full of stuff. After moving it all, I realize that I have a disease and the cure is to throw things away....... However, I have 13 of the large wal-mart tubs full of Magazines, if it had to do with something with an engine, I have it. I even have dirt wheels issues of my Laeger bike when it belonged to Mike Miraow running the Mickey Thompson series. Like 6 or 7 different pics.

My wife HATES!!! all of my stuff but if ever I have a question on something I just bust out a WM tub and go for my ATV encyclopedia's.... can I get an AMEN !!!
