Plastic Raditor Louvers

It is ok to remove the radiator louvers in front of the radiator for mx? I've looked at some pics on the site and I've seen some with them and some without them. If I need to leave them on, is there anything that will clean them up? Mine were turned a little yellow when I got the bike.

they are there for protection!!you should have some sort of protection to keep from rocks and debris from puncturing the radiator,,,bleach them they will clean up
