Crank Position Sensor

I have been working on my work car the last couple days without any luck and I think I have found the problem. I am going to replace the crank position sensor tomorrow.

I cannot find any good pictures or diagrams of where this would be located and nobody at the auto parts store could tell me. Online I can find instructions on how to do one on a ZX2, but I have an Escort SE. 2.0 4 cyl.

Any input would be great!

It will be more than likely be down low near the transmission. I had to go underneath like I was changing the oil. Real easy to change once you do find it.

Its on the trans itself or near it. Gonna really suck cause you have a fwd car.

If oyu go to autozone.com they might have a digram.

Hey bud, starting a new thread. Check it out, see if you have any input. Couple things have changed.
