XR 400 Carb?

Does anyone know if a XR 400 Edlebrock carb will fit on a 400EX? Has anyone ever tried this? Any info would be awesome. Thanks

The 400EX and the XR400 share the same intake manifold. only the carbs are different from the fatory. The edelbrock carb will fit and run well.

sorry, i missed the other part to the question. the other difference between the edelbrock carbs offered is the size of the wheel on which the cable rides on the carb. the thumb one for the atv is big, and the twist one for the bike is small resulting in maybe a little thumb fatigue if you use the carb for the bike on the quad, but no need for an aftermarket thumber. i have the edelbrock on my 400ex and i had to buy an aftermarket thumb throttle from terrycable to obtain full throttle. It is by the way an excelent carb whith which i have had no trouble whatsoever.
