The guy I got my hybrid from said he's friends with the guy that makes the billet CCP stabilizers. He said that his friend said there wasn't any reason that one of those wouldn't work. I've got a friend that got a sponsorship from them, and he had the billet CCP's on both his TRX's and he loved them! He said they worked just as well and was half the price of a Precision. I've been thinking about doing this myself because the PEP stick type stabilizer on my hybrid is shot.

yea, i think i've seen those on ebay. its just like a guy or 2 that makes them right? may could get him to make us something. i would def be interested in one!

my biggest problem with the stick dampners is the slack hey get in the middle.. and if you have it turned up you have the stiff sides that break into the middle where there is no dampning... thats the main reason i like the precision is the independent adjustment for the sides and center... JMO

would def like to know more if you can find out...

I'm not sure. I don't know very much about them but I'll see if I can find out more.

When I got my Walsh 250R last summer I tried to bolt up the Denton stick stabalizer and it would not work. The stick ended up hitting the gas tank.

But between my kids Walsh CRF and mine, I might be interested as well.

My Walsh YZ has a PEP stabilizer on it. It doesn't hit anything, but it's wore the he!! out so it's pretty much useless. LOL :D

mine came with one of the old style bigger diameter stick dampners (gibson maybe?) but i'd just rather have something else...

I bet that's him. I might have to check into that later. But for now, I've got too many other things that my money will be spent on.

it was my understanding that if you called precision products and tell them what frame etc your using they will direct you into using the correct stabilizer i know troybuilt one of the guys from the 250r section uses a kfx450 style on his laeger narrow but then another member posted that he tried the kfx stabilizer on a roll design and no luck.

yea i saw his and thats what got me wondering... but if im not mistaken the roll chassis is kinda similar to walsh as far as tubes go and him saying it didnt work made me ask...

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on that thread too.

But like I said, I've got to spend my money on other things before I'll have the money for a stabilizer. There's just things I want to buy before that.

i think that would be your best bet... here is the link to the honda page on the precision site it says right in the description made for stock and aftermarket frames so i would imagine youd just have to call and be like hey im running a walsh frame what stabilizer will be best for me

the guy at precision i talked to said he thought that walsh has or had one on his so he has done it.. i may give him a shout and maybe he knows whats up....

i would def be interested... i'd def want to run this type of dampner instead of the sticks...
