Jetting

I have an 07 400ex with a k&n air filter. other than that the engine is stock. I just bought a slip-on HMF exhaust. I was wandering if i still need to jet it with the air filter since it's just a slip on?:confused:

I asked a similar question earlier, and was told yes you should. I also was talking to the guys at rockymountainatv.com and told him what I had going and he looked it up for me what jets to put in by my elevation. During business hours they are available for chat from their website

Yes it should be jetted, otherwise you run the risk of not getting enough fuel and the consequences arent to good.

You need a 152 main jet.

you should talk to honda, actually we could both, ill engineer the stuff and you can test it out along with dallas and ron.

god only knows they could use the help.

If they built the quad we wanted they would make big bucks. Between me, you, dallas and ron we know exactly what honda needs to do. Lord knows if they woulda done it by now they woulda had more biz.
