top shock mount width

Like title says. Might get some elkas off a 450r and wondering if they would fit. There roughly 3/4 wide

will ride like ****, the ltr shocks are longer. u could use them shocks on a 250r z400 400ex or 450r. anything else they will be off. top mounts will need to have spacers i think anyhow. to put ltr shocks on a 400 ex for long travel set up you have to cut the top shock mount to make it fit. so the ltr shocks are wider top mount. u put 450r shocks on you will need spacers...

not totally 100% sure thats how it wnet but i have done the long travel setup on a 400ex with ltr shocks. u have to cut the shock mount. and u need +1" longtravel a arms. rides amazing.

oh and just one other thaught. i used to have a set of elka tripple rates remote rezzies and the wole nine yards.... paid like 1500 for front shocks. i sold them and baught stock 450r shocks and had gt thunder rebuild them and they were night and day to elkas. elkas suck. lol send stock shocks to gt thunder and u will love it.
