my 2nd polish-what do you guys think?

Well I just did my 1st polish a few days ago so i had the stuff for my next one, so tonight i decided whats under that megapax2 slipon paint, so I went at it and came up with this... I'm very happy for the fact that it took about 1 hour instead of last one-14 hours total...:rolleyes: :D

Good job polishing it can be aggravating but looks real good, you need a better digi cam though:D

yeah that was the wrong pic-that was the 1st one, battery was dead on that one, i changed it to the new pic

Looks good, how do you polish something to look like that??can will it stay like that like when to clean it after going riding??

I dont know about it lasting that long but i dont care i have many hours on my hand s at all times:D , what i did to polish it was sand(80) get higher grit(240), sand , sand ,sand higher grit(1000) sand sand,steel wool(#000) mothers, about 4 times

get yourselves a bench grinder with some buffing wheels and several compounds. it will save you TONS of time

I got somethin like that in the garage i use for polishin lil parts. My dad has 3 or 4 polishers at work that ill polish cases and bigger parts pretty good but most the time we just send our whole engine to my dads friend to polish it. Turns out great with so little hassle. I love the bench polishers it gets rid of so much hassle:)

What does a bench grinder/polisher look like?

ummmm...... I cant take a pic right now but mine is prolly about 3 feet tall and it has one wide post coming up then at the top it goes both ways. The grinder is on the left and the polisher is on the right. Kinda like a big T and there is the polisher on one side and a grinder on the other.
Im sure there are different kinds but that is how mine is.

well I got done with the whole thing yesterday, and I have a pic but its too big right now, I'm at school now so i'll have the pic sometime tonight:D it dosnt look too bad

Well it dosnt look as good as my others, i might have to do a lil more shining, but then again it looks better in real life, but here it is all shined up:blah :rolleyes:

Looks good man , Keep tryin though , You get better at it with time.
I remember the first time I polished my throttle cover , haha what a mess.
I like to think I'm pretty good at it now though, Now as good as pappy , But close haha.
