05 fcr carb jetting

put fcr carb on my 05 450r off of a crf , cant get it running right . when i back off throttle it doesnt return to idle straight away!

50 pilot

you have an air leak or pilot jet is not set

That seems like a small main to me, but it wouldn't cause it not to return to idle quick. Air leak and pilot are possible causes, or your throttle cable is in a bind, worn out, or not a stiff enough spring on the slide.

The 50 pilot seems too high. Try a 48 or 45 depending on how modded your motor, exhaust and intake are.

i have a 175 main with stock exhaust and air box lid off

Ive got a size 50 pilot in my fcr and still seems to glow at idle but i think your main is to lean im running a 178. and dont forget the leak jet

with aftermarket pipe, and air box lid off, jetting should be 172-178 main with a 45-48 pilot, fuel screw 2 1/2 out and i usually run a OBEKR needle. and a 55 leak jet. are you sure your fuel screw is installed properly with the Oring and washer?
