question bout 05 predator 500

i might be doing a trade for a 05 redator 500 how well do these quads perform and are they considered in the 450 class when u race them or what the one im getting says its got a big bore kit extended arms taper fatbars looks really sweet but just wondering if there are nayprobs and such i should look for thanks

I had an 05 and they are so much better than the earlier models. I had just a slipon, jets and a hot seat intake kit and I was beating 450's all day long. It handled ok but no where near as good as a honda. I do not know if they race with 450's. Mine was very reliable.

i had a fully built 450r. u name it i had it and i traded it for an 05 tld pred with jus a cdi box. jet kit , rizers and bars n slip on n bumper nerfs n grab bar n hand guards n moose throttle. and it was the best thing i cuda ever did. i love it more than anything and it waxes 450s on n off the track. it does have a traction problem tho. i can spin tires from 3-4 no problem on pavement.

My buddies with the Hondas and the yamahas would bust my balls about buying a Polaris, but when we would drag race I would smoke them. I had to sell it. I miss it. But I still love my Honda.
