05 450 headlight question

quick question since my quad is in pieces and cant check. when on high beam is it both filaments lit up or just higher wattage through 1 filament? i want to run both high and low beam at the same time but dont know if that is already accomplished on while on high beam?

I did that and they burned out alot faster due to the increased heat, just run the high they will last much longer

its probably harder on your stator too. you can probably just go out and buy some brighter bulbs. or if you really want to have some bright lights. buy a set of HIDs for it. that would be pretty cool. but not exactly easy

There are HID conversion kits availible, but I just installed some PIAA H6M bulbs (low wattage, high output) and was pretty satisfied with it, and still have my hi/low capability
