frame year sn location?

Here's the start of the roller I bought, he listed it as an 86 but if I remember correctly the rear motor mounts were different. It was painted and I cannot see any s/n's but I'm not really sure of the location either. Doesn't have a year tag on it either. Any help would be greatly appreciated

That is a 88 or 89. you can tell by the foot peg mounts and rear motor mount.

Your Vin# is stamped in the frame in the front between the shock towers. There is a thin metal plate welded there (between the towers) that has the # stamped on it.
