i just got an 06 and wanting to know how to adjust the chain. any help is appreciated.

Its pretty easy, first you loosen the pinch bolts on the rear of the swingarm (I think there are four), then the thing your axle slides though is called the axle carrier. The carrier has a lobe design meaing if you spin it it changes its position in the swingarm, so you can sometimes roll it by putting it in gear and using the chain for leverage or leave it in nuetral and using a small rod insert in into one of the holes on the sprocket side of the carrier to spin it with the sprocket as well. You want about an inch or more of slack. Then tighten up your pinch bolts and you are ready.

yeah i just wasnt sure about turning the carrier. this is my first suzuki i am ued to hondas just having the holes in th carrier next to the sproket. wasnt sure if you had to have a special tool buut think i can get it now
