race classes?

Just in general, But if I ended up putting a 426cc high comp piston in my stock bore 400ex, will I be aloud to race in the Youth 400 class? Or would I be moved directly to 450 classes? I know this is different in other places, but like i said in the beginning, in general...

426 would make you illegal in a 400 class most everywhere.

Thanks for the feedback. I will deff not get a 426 unless I'm gonna get at racing and can put up with the 450's! not even possible for a 400ex...

10 percent machine 90 percent rider. ive seen a handfull of people on 400ex smoke 450s in motocross and in the woods. just depends on if you can ride consitently and not thinking the best of the best makes you fast.
