mitsubishi has a 73in dlp 3d ready tv for $1,500 but in the specs it says it's 120Hz. i normally play on a 42in plasma vizio with around 500Hz and it does good when moving fast, "COD" :macho. is it the higher the Hz the less blury the picture is when moving fast?

yea.. the hertz is the refresh rate of the screen... plasma's will always be best and lcd are slower. i have played on a lcd 120hz before and it wasn't blurry... but it was ncaa 11 and not cod... jmo

my grandma got that tv on black friday. i was watching her house for a few weeks and hooked my ps3 up to it with a sony hdmi cable and the picture was good as any other lcd/plasma until you move fast then it gets slightly blury then later that day i hooked it up to the vizio plasma and it was a night and day difference when objects are moving fast.

i think lcd tv's don't go past 260?Hz whereas most plasma tv's are around 600Hz. that's why i noticed a difference. you probably never played on another tv so i understand you saying it's that good. the more Hz the better for gaming though. but it is good tv though.

Used to be when people were really into gaming pc's you wanted a monitor capable of at least 100hz, I used to set mine to 120hz so it would react super quick.

It definitely makes a difference
