416ex motor Worth?????

well looks like i might be getting rid of the quad i have someone interested in buying it as a whole but might part it out instead. The motor is the only thing i dont know what to ask for. was thinking around 800 . i know i put around 600 into it. So whats a fair price? might run it on the dino at school since it would be free and it would probably help sell it.

here is all whats done to it was done 2yrs ago not sure on how many hrs.

416 kit 11 to 1 Wiesco piston
hotcams stage 2
HD timing chain (450r)
new timing chain tensioner
new ebc clutch with hd springs

Id say you could get a grand out of it, check ebay for a stock one and add a few bucks onto that price.

There are complete 440's and 426's all over craigslist here in ohio for 1300-2000 so i think a grand is a bit much for a 400ex motor. But definetly tray and see if you can get that and then adjust the price from there.

i got like 800 for my old 440. had a lot of hours on it but it ran good.
