I have 21" Mud sharks on my 300EX right now. I ordered a pair of 22" Razr's for it. After I got looking, I'm worried that the 22" ers are going to be big.

Does anyone have 22's on thier 300? And how is it working out is so?

Thanks

I was wondering the same thing for a while. I have 22"s on there now. They dont seem big really when riding it. Come spring, im ordering 22" Razrs for the rear. There not going to be much bigger then what your currently running

yeah my sharks are wore, and they are'nt much bigger than a set of wore out 20" holeshots I have.

Its' just when I took a tape measure after it a I was afraid the 22's would be real close to the heel gaurds.

I needed new tires, and wanted to gear up a little more. I thought I'd be killing two birds with one stone here.

i run 22" sur traks on my 300 for the winter and they work fine, although 2-" would be a better choice thats what i run in the summer, the ground clearance isnt much of a problem either

i have 22'' razr's on the rear and yeah they hook up good but i don't like how big they are. i think they are kinda ugly personally. i would go with 20''s. i borrowed my neighbors stock 400ex tires and they look better.

your neighbor let you borrow his tires, he must be nice, those 22 inch razrs should get great traction and good ground clearance.

Thanks for all the input, part of me wishes I ordered the 20's instead on the 22's (oh well).

Hey! me and my father built a bead breaker so that we can change out our own tires. If anyone is interested in building one I'll post a photo of it. I used all scrap steal and have "0" invested in it. It ain't pretty, but works awesome.

I took my old dented wheels with the wore out holeshots and dis-mounted them. Then I took my good wheels with the mudsharks on them and dismounted them (I'm putting the Razr's on those).

Then, I mounted the Mud Sharks on the dented wheels, now I'm all set to mount the Razr's when they come in on Tuesday, and I'll Have the Mud Sharks as spares instead off the Slick Holeshots.

Anyways thanks for all the info. and pics of your machines...

will do..... might be a couple days before I get them on here though....

just today, I broke the right front down and replaced a valve stem that had a slight leak in it....(approx 10 minutes total time).... handy dandy, whippy dip tool I have...LOL

It works great! although I still have 1 more improvement on it I want to make.. :)

take care

I got my new Razr's on last night. Even though I think they're awesome, I wished I had went with the 20's.

The improvment on the breaker is a way to hold the tire still, but easy to turn and release (havent got it all figured out yet). :)
