Which is heavier? If you have 1 gallon of water and you have another 1 gallon of water that is now frozen (it will now be more than a gallon), which is heavier when in liquid for they are both a gallon?

somebody correct me if im wrong, but it should be the same. now if you took exactly a gallon of water and exactly a gallon of ice, the water would be heavier since water is more dense than ice.

TEEECCCHHNIIICAAALLLYYY you cant have a gallon of ice...for ice is a solid. you can fill a gallon jug with ice (good luck getting it exact) and the gallon jug of ice would be lighter then the same gallon jug filled with water.

*edit it would be in grams most likely at that point*
