big mistake

well my bro inlaw is a youth hockey coach, and he sends me a link to his website. it has pics of his team playing and stuff. well i "reply" back, not knowing that 1/2 the state was also sent the link. when i replyed back, i said, "dude, who's the goalie. he's huge !. well now every parent on the team gets MY e mail reply. goalies mom e mails back. not happy. anyone else ever do this? i feal so bad.;) btw/ my bro inlaw was ticked when he got a phone call from a irate parent at 10:30pm..:macho changing my name to 660bigdummy

That kid's big, no doubt, I wouldnt be afraid to tell anyone that. But I wouldnt try and make fun of him about it, thats just cold.
I'd say MAYBE try and tell the mom that you did not mean to make a joke of her son in anyway, and leave it at that

Im the goalie for my city's ice hockey team and im not even that big. 5'6-9 130-160 lbs is a good size for a goalie to be. That guy looks like he would be kinda slow.

Goalies have to do more then just stay in front of the goal. They have to know how to play the puck and skate and know all the different styles of saves. (hockey talk sorry) lol

I almost made the same mistake..I was rippen somebodies arse at work in an email and sent it to 3 people that by all means should NOT have got it.. Luckily I work in the IT dept. and I called my buddy up who is the Email admin. and had him delete the emails off the server before they got them.....:o Talk about sweatin bullets. That probably would have cost me my job if they were read by those people...:eek:

Yeah, you also have to watch out for people forwarding your e-mails to people you never intended to read them - I had a manager do this to me at my company, I sent him an e-mail telling him about a problem another manager was trying to blame on me - when it was actually him not doing his job. The manager I sent it to just turned around and forwarded my e-mail directly to the manager I was talking about! Funny part is the guy replied with an e-mail that was so defensive it made him look like a complete *****:D
