I picked up a used set of flex bars for our mini. I need to know what color elasatomer you guys are using. The blacks are in it now, but we want it a little softer. I thinks I have reds, yellow, and it seems like one more color. Which one have you guys liked the best?
Thanks Bryan

I think the blacks are pretty stiff. I could be wrong but I think it's (hard to soft) white, black, red, yellow, and blue. We run the blue ones.

i also ran blue, and left the nut just a little loose.

What about width? What are you guys doing? Since they're for full sized bikes, are you cutting them down? We run ATV4Play soft bars now and cut a small amount off the ends. Everything fits on the bars, but it's a pretty tight fit. I was just curious how the Flexx bars worked out on the mini's.

i ran them full, needed all the space for levers and trottle.

keep in mind Rob, he is in the "stock appearing" classes and could possibly be protested for not having the stock switches on the bars....LOL or driving into the corners to aggressively or air cooled motors that outrun the lc motors....LOL or .........hahaha jk

I will always have a soft spot for them for sure. Just the politics that go with them I wont miss. I thought you would get a kick out of that one. I guess everyone figured out the new motor aint air cooled.....LOL you think the radiator and the hoses gave it away......

Well Brady, what you and I talked about... went and did it and he loves it! Looks like quad racing will be a thing of the past for us real soon.

That's a nice bike! I'm just a little partial to Kawi's though LOL
Good for ya'll. He'll pick it up quick I'm sure. Where ya'll gonna run? Bartow? DC?

Thanx for the props on the bike. Right now it's just riding around the house. Once he gets better then we'll do Bartow and get a little jumping in. Will take him over to DC when I feel like he's ready for it.

He rode it for the 1st time Saturday for about 20mins. I rode it 1st and almost lost it 2-3 times. Man these things hit out of nowhere :eek2: . I was kind of scared to let him ride it but he got on it and rode it no problem. Didn't stall it and didn't even lay it down even after putting him in the soft grove dirt behind my house. Seems like he's got pretty good balance and it looks almost natural to him having never really rode a dirtbike before. Will ride again tomorrow after school.

HAHA, yeah the 65's & 85's will put a grown man on their lid in a hurry! Don't let that thing hurt ya! LOL
I personally like the Kawi's. We always had Kawi dirt bikes when I was growing up.

Rub what in? That I now have a fully built mini in my garage that Jam hasn't given a 2nd thought since he rode the dirtbike? lol From the way it's looking now we may not do many more quad races...:ermm:

rubbin in the fact that you guys wont be at quad night anymore..;)
I have a bad *** cr85r expert big wheel model I traded the DRR for and my son wont even try to ride it. Man I wish he would but as of right now he wont. I guess he is to entrenched in the
quad-v-bikes mentality...:D Seriousley I was just hopin he would get on it, learn to ride it and keep it for a trail/fun bike and not run the race blaster too much and we could start trail riding again more.

Man Ride1Rob, you guys must be the neighborhood motor-sport hell raisers. Damn, the police are just parked outside your garage WAITING for you to start something up!!

LOL, we try and respect the neighbors and have been pretty lucky they put up with it the lil bit of riding he does. I don't ride my bike much at all and will probably sell it soon. There's a huge Orange grove behind our house that Jam and I play in every once in awhile.

Ahhh, nothin' like being able to make Fresh Orange juice when you want lol
