Do you know what year the frame is? I seen in your other thread with parts for sale there is a tag on the frame on the upper shock hour mount, what does that say?

Very nice frames!! I had one for several years they don't get as much recognition as some others but for a stock geometry frame their great. It would make a great xc build, snag those ars fx lt arms that are forsale too.. Off to a damn good start. If I still lived near the trees I'd build one forsure.

Save them for future project, or sell local, shipping will kill any deal with those... unless you can ship thru a business... be prepared to ship for 140+... you can ship thru Greyhound bus, but that's still 60 bucks, and sketchy to me.

I've got an Arens frame too, and I love it!! There was an article a while back that had the Arens frame vs a Lonestar. They said the Arens was a much better frame, and it held up a lot better.

Hay Ryan heres an idea for shipping the airbox with the frame...I would think you can still fit the air box in the sub and ship it like this.

hope you don't mind that I posted the pics....

Is there a way to tell years?
Do these have a seriel number? or...

rayman375

To my knowledge there is no way to tell what year it is if you buy it used. Aren's did not stamp any numbers on their frames. The one that I have now is a bit different though at the front shock mount crossmember. It has three holes in it instead of the Aren's logo, it also does not have the rear upper engine mount.
