I want to get v-force reeds on my 87 zilla, but i'm not seeing any for an 87 is there any site that has them for an 87 and also how do the fmf ram valves perform? FMF makes those for an 87. Is there any difference between the ram valve and the v-force?

I went from a Boyesen Rad Valve to a V-force cage. I guess if Moto-Tassarni doesn't make them for your zilla you'll have to get the FMF or a Rad Valve. Personally I'd get the Rad valve. I haven't heard any good things about the FMF ram valves.

I agree stay with Motos V or Boyseen (much better quality and performance) unless you dont have a choice.

They both make em for the Zilla. I personally recommend V-force to my customers. I think they are a much better quality product.

OOOOPs sorry. V-force or Boyesen Dont offer them for the 87. FMF is the only one who does.

Delta Force2 V valves or whatever they call them, are the best hands down.:)

Let us know how you like it. Not many people use the FMF valve.

Well I'll probably get that ram valve and my head from Trinity by the end of next week, hopefully. Trinity has had my head for like over a month.

tri state sport called back and they said the ram valve was discontiued, but they said they could get one other brand of reed cage that would fit a 87, that is Mossbarger which is suppose to have most flow of air than any other reed cage at a price of $125

now this chart is directly from the Mossbarger web site:

For those of you who don't recall that "exhilaration", here is an example of comparative Flow Bench testing for a 250cc; Suzuki LT250 59.60 CFM
Honda TRX 250R 54.60 CFM
FMF Reed Cage 53.26 CFM
Boysen Rad Valve 64.68 CFM
Mossbarger Power Groove flowed through at 71.40 CFM.

Aren't those Mossbargers like from the 70's?

The mossenberger are very good reed cages. They make really good power.
