Anybody running an FTZ handconed pipe?

Whatcha think? I don't hear much about the FTZ pipes, they look like a work of art... I assumed they only made mostly duner/drag pipes, but they claim the now have an XC/MX pipe too...

I called FTZ last week to see if I could get one,and The guy told me that they are out and have about a 150 people wanting them and that they are so backed up from thier micro sprint cars,that only the stars know when they will get around to building more.Pretty crazy!I ended up emailing LED to check availability and price.Arlan said he is about three weeks out.Here is an old ATV SOURCE reveiw on the FTZ pipe.The price has more than doubled since this link review.

Yeah my buddy called FTZ last week about an OOF pipe for his ATC, and they said it would be a few months before he could possibly get one.

i bought the pipe off this quad,it's the 6" big bore top end pipe and i love it. when i talked to dennis at ftz he told me to find this pipe instead of the 5". the 5" is more of a midrange pipe.

Been running one on my 330 sense 02. I liked it so much I got another one for the spare parts build. After I get done with the 954.

No I haven't... I was all gunho about it then changed my mind... I'm now leaning towards going with an LED pipe and LED NIks 300 PV top end... after talking with Arlan.

thats the one. x2 on the silencer but wonder if it would affect performance with another type silencer?

No, I don't ride in the woods and its not required around here. Ask him if other silencers fit, like an LRD or something.

Over hear in Oregon we need those big silencers to stay with in the noise limit on the dunes. The 4" diameter silencer is big on quiet. All mine are polished and look great (but they are cascade brand) That looks like a good pipe. That is fat.

I run an LED pipe similar to the one above. I like it. Mine is bare. I keep light rust prevention oil on it. The silencer works ok. I just repacked it after about 15 gallons of fuel thu the quad. It did burn a hole thru my Maier plastic right away. It also spews unburnt premix oil out the connection where the angled inlet meets the silencer diameter. The LeD tag fell off in the first two days of riding also. For the money, it works well but leaves some to be desired, IMO.

I run the FTZ pipe on my FTZ monster motor, I love it. Great craftsmanship, I got the ceramic coated. I wish I had thay silencer from the first pic, I have an oval FTZ one.
