Rear brakes leaking???

My rear brakes are leaking from the dust cap. I'm going to use the block off to get rid of my parking brake. But do you think the leak is coming from the oring being bad in the brake piston? Or will the block off stop the leak?

The block of plate won't stop a leak, you need to replace an o ring to fix the leak. The brakes are pretty simple tho and it shouldn't be too hard to do. Any local autoparts store or atv shop should have the o ring you need just take the bad one in.

Best thing to do is to spray it down with brake clean to get all the dirt and oil off. Than have someone press the brake and you check to see exactly where the leak is coming from.

I did that and its defiantly leaking from where the shaft end is where the e brake would press against it. Had to order o ring crazy right! Anyway thanks any other opinion would be great. Thanks.
