My Polaris dealer doesn't carry oil change kits for the Outlaw 525 due to low demand.

Also those kits are spendy as crap.

What are you guys using for oil? I don't want to skimp on oil in such a high performance machine.

I was going to order a couple Filters and oil here this week to keep on hand.

Thanks

This question will get many answers, the oils mentioned are good I used maxima atv oil in mine, just make sure you change it often as well as the filters.

Thanks guys. I'll try Amsoil.
I've heard with wet clutches you can't use just any oil. I've had great luck with Amsoil in my CR250 so i'll give the 4-stroke stuff a try.

One more question what aftermarket oil filters are you using. OEM are 10 bucks a pop 20 bucks just for filters seems high. K&N are 7 each HiFloFiltro are 5 each and have really good reviews anyone use these?

How many qt does the machine take I know my old predator the book said one thing but it took less than the book said.

Thanks for answering all my stupid questions :D

Well the polaris filters are the ktm filters. Seems a little cheaper direct from KTM. I have not used the two that you are refering to.

I use Hiflo and haven't had any problems. I usually buy 4 or 5 at a time off ebay so I don't get eaten up on shipping for one at a time.

I use the SS filters, and the motor looked spotless when I put the 570 kit in it last fall. But I change oil every 3 or 4 rides.
