I would say get a tapered. A tapered bearing will handle the side to side jarring. I'll show you the difference...

A dual row is just more durable.

Depends on what you are riding. Twin row is better for trails and abuse. tapered is geared for MX.

I would get a dual row. I'll do some re-search or somebody can chime in on the best one to get. Some brands don't use the stock size bearings, which means you can get automotive bearings that will work and that is cheaper.

IMO get the dual row carrier and get the all balls bearing that is one wide bearing for each side. I got them on my YFZ and i ride mx and some trails and it seems to be holdin up real good

We've been running the tapered in a 06 TRX450 for the past 3 seasons running the CRA and GNCC series with no failures - Just repack and replace the seals from time to time - My other son runs double row rollers in his 05 and keeps wearing them out about 2-3 bearing changes a year! Tapers seem to work best for us.

Don't know who Jnine is and what his qualifications are, but we have had no problem with adusting them and it coming loose - I am speaking from experience not opinion - Don't think they are a gimmick at all - As for the pros, they don't run a lot of aftermarket things we do, because of sponsorship and most of that stuff is replaced much more often than we do. JMO!

I was just putting it out there. I prefer the twin row carriers over the tapers.
