450r carb hp results

I am getting ready to get a 450r carb and would like to know how much of an hp gain can i expect from it?! i have sparks racing exhaust stage 2 hotcam and 11 to one wiseco piston

2-4 hp probably if i was a betting man.

are u going to do a dyno just asking.....
do u have a stock topend or 416,426,440 kit.....

not to sure but i will bring it to the dyno soon though after i put on the 450r carb but i want to get my head ported too before i do that!

my friend on here made 39.17 hp with out head work... just with a sparks carb and sparks pipe and small bore and cam......and i seen it on the dyno in tulsa at sandtrax.....

dang that is impressive that power rating is close to or higher to wat a stock 450 has!

I would suggest doing a dyno while stock...otherwise you will never know how much you gain...dyno's here an there can all run a little different...stock dyno should be around what..28hp...? You do the work an you get 38hp...an u say I gained 10....but the stock dyno if you run it may show 31hp...so you actually only gained 7hp.....until u know what the "dyno' is showing for stock, you can't really know how much you gained...I'm willing to bet there are some dyno's showing anywhere from 25 to 34 on a stock machine.

ya im the kid who made that much power but i got about 2k in the motor....
