how do i grind the welds in the header..can i do it with a dremal tool...????? thanks for the help

I used a die-grinder at work on mine. Yes a dremmel should work. :)

Yeah I just used my air dremil and it worked great I just happend to have a wheel that was the same size as the inside of the pipe so it came out nice and smooth. It does help the power a little too so it is worth the time. I have since moved on to the Hetrick system but I think you will be pleased after grinding the welds.

Yea I just used a dremel tool and they smoothed right out.

When you remove the header will the gasket have to be replaced. I know some gaskets will break no matter what because there location when you take the part off. Just wondering.

The gaskets are copper (I think) crush rings and I replaced mine and would suggest replacing them to anybody removing the head pipe.

I didnt replace mine and there's no leaks, but I also did it when it was new too.

for some engine the stock head pipe with the welds grinded out actualy works better then most sftermarket system. Tom carlson of tc racing recomends you use a stock head pipe with his slip on
