teather cord

my brother has a 300ex with a teather cord on it and the piece tht connects it broke off is there a way to remove the teather cord completly?? cause it wont let it start it will just turn over.... please help!!1

you can get a replacement lanyard or you can take the kill switch off.

Should be able to connect the two wires togather to complete the circuit.
