Ok so i just found one for sale and the guy was makin it sound like it was a rare item that only 500 were built. Im just curious if anyone works for honda and knows that for sure?? I live within an hour from 3 dealers. each of those dealers had 1 in 08 and i know for a fact 1 of the 3 had 2 of them in 08 because 2 of my buddies bought them. Now their popping up for sale as a rare and valuable item supposedly?? So i gotta know, was there really only 500 made or was honda talkin them up to push them out the door? How many of them do you guys know of?? the 450's not the 250? Talking about the top one in this link

I can't imagine it's any rarer than my black LTR450.

Just because the plastics are a different color should not cause the price to be any higher. In 30 years, it will not be any more valuable than a standard 08 CRF450.

do the know the differance in value between a 1985 Honda RED ATC 70 and the limited edition BLUE one. Same thing applies to the RED and BLUE ATC 110's

How about a Red 1985 Honda Z 50 and the 1985 CHROME edition.

30yrs from now the black CR's with be worth more then the red ones...and there is more then plastic to them. Other parts are also Factory Honda Black

Yes i understand all the magnesium covers are black unlike the natural tan/brown on the red ones. I do know that the black was produced in less numbers than the red but im questioning the numbers. If only 500 were produced worldwide it seems hard to believe that 4 of them were sent to a very rural BFE area of ohio lol thats all im saying
