Would the fox shocks off a polaris predator fit a 400ex? theyre cheaper than the 450r shocks on ebay

If they are the same length and stroke, yes. you just may have to get the valving changed to work as good as possible

okay. I was more talking about would the mounts match up? And do you know how long 400ex shocks(stock) are eye to eye?

No clue. You can just set your quad on a stand so that no weight is on them and measure... IMO it needs to be w/in .25" at least

i think, from what i just searched that the pred shocks are around 18 in. and the 400ex shocks are 16.25 in.
