having a little trouble with the carb...not sure whats done to the motor but its got a pro circuit pipe and a mikuni flat slide carb with a 290rd main
the bike has a bog in the low section.....there are no markings on the carb except 3201 d

should i get a diff carb ???(little guy wants a twist instead anyway)

its about 20-30 degrees here and no lid on the air box

thanks for any help

can anyone tell me what year the motor is ? or what the carb might be from ...??

you should do a compresion test and recheck those numbers i dont think its right 38---42 sounds more reasonable for main size depending on elevation of course but 290???
i had kehin carbs though so that may make a diff im not familiar with flat mic sizes ,40-4 mix,and not the best pipe for low end
dep pipes are the shizit for the cr motor

what color is the plug i had a ktm 250 and i changed the muffler packing it helped a little bit i think it was sucking the oil up when i kicked started it and after it started end ran it .it would blow it out i see you have a lot of black oil areuond the pipe and specks of oil on the frame by the pipe conector or go with a smaller jet but keep a eye on the color of plug it should be brown. check out hot quads mini quad racing on ther web sight they have a tech section on tunning carbs good luck tommy
