You did adjust the chain via carrier right?;)

check ypot manual it will show you how to adjust your chain with the rear carrier. It can be done with the stock chain length no need to remove or add links.

Yes I have adjusted the carrier. AND THAT MAY BE THE PROBLEM, B/C i GOT AN AFTERMARKET CARRIER W/ TWIN ROW BEARINGS. yOU WOULDN'T THINK THAT WOULD AFFECT IT THOUGH?:huh :confused2

Use a little more force and turn that carrier some more..that setup should work with the stock chain length. I run all this sprocket combo's and still use stock length chain.

i have the Herrmann racing bearing carrier and it turns almost completly around but i put a new DID x ring chain on and i tried to use 16:39 and it wouldn't work, i can only use 15:39. the chain was either to long, then i cut it, then it was just a hair short, after the chain stretches a little hopefully it will work.

I also have the DID X-ring. But I thought that a chain is a chain as far as length. It's a 520. I still can't get the 16-36 to work! WTF??:huh

Mine came from Magic Racing, it's a Speed Racing Products carrier. But, I had the same problem with my stock carrier. What can I do to run a 16-36 ?

u guys should be replacing your chain whenever u put new sprocets on anyways. I just always buy a chain thats usually aound 110 links, and cut the rest off. SO that way i know i have enough. ANd the differance in price between a 110 and say a 100 is a few minor dollars.

Yes I have heard this also. Your stock chain could be to stretched out and thats why when you take off the link its to tight. Or it might not be long enough ect. You get the point ;) .
