does anyone have a link to a how to rebuild shocks. i pretty much know how ijust need a bit of a guide and specs like oil level and gas pressure im rebuilding a stock 400ex shock hopefully with a racetech gold vale and all balls seal

start by taking the spring off, you can either take the shock main body or the resivor apart first, dosent matter, ull have to use a punch to pop the outside cap off the main shock, then push down the seal, will be very hard, take out the snap ring, the pull the the shaft with seal attached out. then u jus swap the seal, clean the body and assemble. u use atf that u have to let sit for atleast a day so there no air bubbles. you jus fill the shock up all the way and u gotta tilt it and slowly put the shaft and seal back in making sure there are NO AIR bubbles in it. then jus put the snap ring back in and assemble. i think you put 140psi of nitrogen. not exactly sure about the psi cause all shocks different. its very important there no air or your shock will be sloppy, good luck
