well since we are on the issues of trucks anybody got any old chevys? i have a 72 and was wondering if anyboday has one around that year that are really nice. is so post pics.

j/k...that's a nice El Camino. '70 was the best year for them in my opinion. What kind of drivetrain do you have in it?

not anything special but soon it will have 6 inches of lift 36inch swamper tsl's and paint

I had a 1949 Chevy 3/4 ton(3200 i think it was at that time) untill it got sold about a year and a half ago. That thing was sweet. I wish i still had it.

I have '48 and a '51 chevy project trucks, two more for parts. They are both 3/4 tons but I am going to switch the frames and boxes to make a half ton, put a camaro sub frame on front, make it as low as it will go, small block with overdrive, 17's on front, 18's on the rear when i find the time and money.

wel anyway my dad used to have an old 50 somethning chev truck that we were going to restore but my dad sold it he said he lost interest :eek: well anyway it was fun pulling it apart

the drive train on the elco is a 350 small block with single stage nitrous system and about 50 other things like headers igniton etc. the turbo 350 trans has a b&m full race shift kit and 2800 rpm stall street/strip torque(however you spell it) converter. great fun at the stop lights!:devil
