Swing arm questions

I got a 88-89 Houser swing arm set up on the cheap and what I am wondering is do I need to get a new bearing carrier or will the Lone Star carrier that I have in the 86-87 swing arm work.

I have a Lone Star carrier with a Dura Blue axle with a anti-fade nut on my 86-87 swing arm and I just need to know if these parts will work in a 88-89 setup I know that parts of the linkage needs to be changed but I'd hate to not be able to use the axle and the other parts.

it should all be the same as far as axle and carrier,but i do beleive the linkage for the shock will be different, but i dont remember what combonation has to be used. some one else will know

need 88-89 linkage; shock should be the same

87 linkage is the same parts as 88/89. different shock length and bolt for swingarm to linkage is the only difference.
