i was just wondering how you outlaw owners liked the hydraulic clutch? I have a ltr-450 and am considering getting one for it sometime if it works good and isnt a pain in the a** to keep working properly. Thanks

Having used the hydraulic and the cable, I prefer the hydraulic :D

I did have a slave cylinder go bad at about 50 hours, it was $100. :ermm:

100% hydraulic, its smooth and easy to use, the ONLLLYY thing is you need to properly maintain it otherwise you could burn through your clutch :)

i finally got to feel a hydraulic clutch and man they feel great. when i get new clutch fibers and heavy duty springs i will get a hydraulic clutch for sure. what kinda maintenance will i need to do? how often does the fluid need to be flushed?...etc.

If you are filling every couple of rides, you have a problem. I have NEVER had to add fluid.

Yep, when I started having to add fluid I got a new slave cylinder. The KTM one leaks into the engine when it goes bad...

hmmmmm......ill have to look into that then. its not like its draining to the point where it NEEEDS to be filled if your following me. I am just a fluid nut and try and top everything off before i ride.

but it definitely does lower a little bit. Ill have to check for a leak.
