400ex yfz shocks

i was wondering if a yfz rear shock would
a) fit on a 400ex
b) is tht much of an upgrade over stock. ive read that 450r shocks arent that much of an upgrade wondering if thats the same for yfz's.

kid from school has a a set of fronts and a rear. just curious if these are worth my while

They fit but you gotta trim the eyes on the shocks quite a bit. they are much softer.

450r shocks are fine, just gotta set them up right.

there 2 ppl i know who are saling 450r shock there both 06 up the good ones just saying
