1988 spindel on 1986 250r?

was wondering if 88 spindels fit on an 86 R?

Does anyone know what fits from a 400ex on a R?

400ex hubs and spindles will work on a R...but ya need both on a 86 & 87 and also 88 i believe. you can use the 89 hubs...but will have to get new collars and inserts and bearings for a 400ex.

Thing is I only need one spindel, I have an 86 R, and I found a guy that has the side I need only its an 88

if u use 86 spindles u will have to use 86 hubs and rotors the bearings are the same size on the inner and outter hubs where the latter ones have 2 different size bearings most people use 400ex spindles on Rs and get brackets form baldwin or use 400 cailpers
